ABOUT Jason
Jason Coatney is a self taught artist living in the hamlet of Westbrookville, NY. Born in 1976, he developed a love for art at an early age. After graduating high school in Alaska he began a 25 year career as a ‘walldog’ in outdoor advertisement painting. This incredible career took him all over the world where he worked and learned from the best in the industry, finally landing with Colossal Media in NYC in 2012.
As the lead painter at Colossal Media he painted murals and canvas for the Museum of Modern Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Gogasian, The Foundation Carmignac, Nando’s Art, Ines and Vinoodh, Nike, Google, Coca Cola and countless other clients.
He retired from advertising in 2023 to devote all of his time to studio work.
